Succession Season 4

The election news director nerd getting wasabi in his eyes and Greg dumping La Croix on him (“it’s natural, it’s medical”) was hilarious.

There will be so much I miss about Succession with Greg’s awkward fuck-ups being #1.
Cousin Greg is honestly one of the best, most interestingly developed characters in TV history.

Wow another great episode. Roman shocked me.
Kieran Culkin deserves any award he’s nominated for his performance this season.

As far as power rankings for the next CEO of Waystar, I think it’s going to be Greg. Mattson said he would do a US CEO, but I bet it won’t be Shiv. Gotta go with the person he likes the most.

Kendall playin' the game. He's gonna win and turn into his father and have no family left

I’m not sure. Mencken may screw them. I would hate to see Shiv win. When she had that glass of champagne, it made my stomach turn.

i don't think so. one thing i've always liked about this show is that they tell you what's gonna happen. there's no dues ex machina, no surprises. the whole show has been about kendall turning into logan.

someone on reddit said that Kendal transitioning from Jess to Hugo is a metaphor for his own transition. i've been waiting for that transition for a while now. hugo has that dawg in him.

Roman's breakdown is his own character study: he guards himself by being a smartass who does not take things seriously or think of the ramifications of decisions. He thought he was the man and could nail the eulogy but he revealed how small and scared he is. That and he's basically in denial that his Dad is dead.

Shiv is trying to manage an end-around deal and Kendall is taking things head on like he's Logan. I think in the end that Mencken uses and abuses all of them and possibly works directly with Mattson.

The poison drips through. The consistency of the show regarding Kendall turning into Logan and avoiding crazy twists and gotchas has been excellent.

Part of what made the Godfather great was the same progression in building it's characters. Ton of Michael Corleone parallels with him this season even down to some dialogue that the writers are probably being intentional about. I'm hoping the finale is him alone at the top after 'killing off' the rest of his competition and consolidating power.

What's with Roman wanting to bang Marcia? I'm not sure if that he's more into olds, or it's a psychological thing of liking them because Daddy did.

Marcia may have been hot three or four decades ago, but not now. That and you're a billionaire, you have your pick of the litter. The Disgusting Brothers could teach him some lessons.

If Menken screws them all I'd be disappointed. Kendall deserves to end on top due to the moves he's making and bridges he's burning. Shiv can kick rocks.
