There is a guy who was a player for the NY Giants the year Rhule was there (2012) who was Rhule's ST Coordinator his first two year with the Panthers - Chase Blackburn (Foley was his assistant Coach). He is currently the Rams ST Coach.



No clue if this is the guy but he matches the tidbits in the rumor (of course, the rumors are so sketchy a number of people would meet them) and he knows Rhule.

Here's the kicker - it turns out Scott Frost was Blackburn's assistant until he left to take the UCF job in December. When Frost left the Rams hired Craig Aukerman to be asst ST coach. Ackerman was fired after being ST Coach for the Titans for 5 years at the end of 2023. He was actually Blackburn's boss at the Titans until Blackburn took the Rams job in 2023.

Blackburn would also be familiar with Maher, as Maher was with the Rams in 2023.

IDK if he's a good coach or viable candidate, just question the photo they have on file for him. Do they not have him standing on a practice field in his coach's polo?
