In his final year at Nebraska we were really really good at special teams. DPE, blocking punts, elite kicking, etc...

I would give him 20k, a kennel for his cat and a broom closet.

2. Dan Jackson NIU DB coach & Special teams coordinator

Coaching at Norther Illinois currently... Was at SDSU before.

Jackson, who earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, spent seven seasons as assistant coach at Harry A. Burke High School in Omaha, Neb. He served as offensive coordinator and coached the linebackers. Jackson earned the Omaha Metro Coaches Assistant Coach of the Year Award in 2008 and 2011.

No clue here if he is any good, but has area connections

3. Bill Busch

Stud recruiter and good special teams coach.

Currently unemployed. He made 450k at LSU. I say we match it and make him recruiting coordinator, special teams coordinator and Travis Fishers #2.

4. Sean Snyder

Probably choice #1, but wont happen unless we open the checkbook to do it.

5. Doug Shearer Miami of Ohio

Cornicator mention him. Makes less than 100k. Back to back years of having top 10 special teams efficiency.

If he could do that at Nebraska we would be saved by a soulless fucking ginger

These aren't in any order. Anybody else to throw on this list?

If I had to guess we move on from Mario (makes 375k iirc) and with Rut gone we freed up about 525k in cash to allocate to this. Frost would coach QBs and we would rock and roll.

6. Carlos Polk

Dallas Cowboys asst. special teams coach.

7. Doug Coleman

Cleveland Browns assistant special teams coach

Sean or Bill. This is fucking Nebraska, that N stands for something. It’s about damn time we pursue the best and quit being pussies going cheap. If we have better special teams that wins us I’ll say 4-5 more games in the Frost tenure to date.

I vote Bill Busch. He is a Nebraska guy and his wife and kids still live in Lincoln. He can recruit the hell out of players, good special teams coach also can help coach other defensive positions plus is a tireless worker, which is something that has been mentioned by some might not be the characteristics of most of our current coaching staff. Busch is proven Power5 successful, has a track record. Frost needs all of the experience and help he can get for his under qualified young Group of 5 staff.

That board.....

Having Dawson take over special teams makes the most sense to me. He was special teams coordinator at Boston College for a while.

That would make sense, but the word is he didn't want to coach special teams.
