Serious question: how is CU only favored -2.5?

To clarify what I mean: there's no real way this could be a 45-42 game like CU-TCU. Nebraska doesn't have the weapons to keep up.

And CU doesn't seem like they'd get "Big Ten'd" at home and get stuck in a 20-17 game.

If you like CU, you'd have to think this is going to be a 14-28 pt win for them. You'd think the money would be flowing to CU and that line would be moving. But it's not really yet.
We'll be better on both sides of line of scrimmage.
3-3-5 is built to stop this offense.
Neb will play keep away.
Rhule is very familiar on how to stop a program built to win games like the Big 12

TCU was terrible. They have 15% of their returning offensive production and tried to pass all around on Colorado. They still ran for a ton with almost no emphasis on it.

They also have a defense far more predicated on big plays.

Nebraska is a slower paced team that keeps it in front of them on defense. It’ll be much tougher for Colorado on both sides.

This alone gives me hope because no way does Vegas set a line that they think they’ll get killed on, especially when the line hasn’t moved after all this action. It’s sweet enough at -3 that I’m sure some dumbfuck from colorado will mortgage their house.

Not only has the line not moved...it actually went DOWN toward Nebraska. Story was linked earlier on this thread - but the sportsbook said they put it at CU -5.0 and market quickly corrected it back to -2.0.

Now it's basically frozen at -2 to -3 range. Which is ODD because you have to figure that the money is coming in 90-10 on favor of Colorado.

Hell, the Athletic just came out w their rankings and CU was 15th and Nebraska was 71st. CU is the home team....you expect the line to be around -10 to -14 honestly.

The fact that the line is frozen at -2 to -3 is telling.

Emotionally, a lot of folks think that Colorado is going to beat Nebraska based on the results of last weekend. But when you look at the actual play, I still think Nebraska is the better team and will win. Colorado has a lot of issues that TCU failed to take advantage of. Nebraska also has issues but they are smaller. Nebraska will win and have a better record at the end of the season, but the more casual fans are betting with their emotions and throwing money on Colorado. It is some crazy stuff going on, like Colorado ranked. Going to be a fun game and a great result for Nebraska. This win will mean so much more thanks to Colorado beating a crappy TCU last week.
