What did Bo ask for that he didn’t get?

I have a ton of examples and don't want to bore people, but I'll give you one of what I'm talking about...

Ross Els was our LB coach for Bo, and in 2013/2014 he was also our Special Teams Coordinator, AND was our Recruiting Coordinator. Bo asked Eichorst if he could have 2 recruiting personnel hires to deal with logistics for travel and other things to take the load off Els. Eichorst told him no. Hired Mike Riley and hired and gave him 3 people in his recruiting department to do what Pelini was asking for.

IMO an AD needs to give a coach what he needs to succeed within reason, if you tell one coach no and then give another coach what the one prior was asking for, that's a problem.

Yeah Eichorst should’ve done what was best for the program instead of hamstringing Bo. Or just can him right off the bat and move on.

So I was a Bo fan... I can go on a long rant about how I wish he would have got what he asked for to see what he could have done for us, because Mike Riley actually got more than what Bo was asking for.

That said, that was a terrible offer and I said so at the time.
