I think you will see it. Rhule is more invested in making in-roads into the Omaha area than previous staffs.

Which is smart because there has been a definite uptick in talent there recently even compared to more populated places like Denver which seems to be on a downturn lately.

The uptick in both Omaha and the state of Nebraska is something I’m still trying to get used to - it’s impressive. I first got into recruiting around 2001. The following 15 years or so were very very lean, it was quite pathetic actually. There were years where finding one or two guys wasn’t easy and often times we missed while Cockeye or such was taking the better, lower ranked guy and succeeding with them. Its just one more example of it feeling like the stars are aligning for husker fans with the Matt Rhule hire.
