I can understand a few weeks down the road when the excitement has worn off, but how can anyone go to that game and immediately decide they want to play anywhere else?

Should give him a good chance to compare a gameday atmosphere between Nebraska (against Colorado) and Texas (against UTSA).

Solid point. Texas recruiting tail, I’d bet, is much better than Nebraska tail.

And yea, trying to come up with reasons to soften the blow if/when he mutes to Texas.

Obviously they were there to see Tyson play, but I really hope that they talked with Ackerman at Central and push for a preferred walk-on spot for him. Yes, I'm biased. But he is an elite athlete, nearly on par with Christian Jones - he put threw him in shot put by almost 10'. He recently committed to NW Missouri St, but would be the perfect walk-on candidate IMO. Super high upside.
