He throws the ball and manipulates the pocket better than Sims right now. If Sims is a “QB” then so is Rezac.

I honestly can't stand it when people make comparisons between high schoolers and D1 players like that.
It may be right, it may be wrong, but Sims (not defending him in the least) has played against a defense that has been towards the top of the nation in scoring D the last few years and another that had the likes of Travis Hunter locking down someone.
Rezac has played 3 Nebraska high school teams with a combined record of 5-6. It's not a fair comparison.

Looks like a serious athlete but his arm doesn't look Power 5 level for a QB. If Rhule wants speedy WR's who can stretch the field we need a QB who can get them the ball. His highlight reel showed nice touch but can't have balls hanging in the air against the Ohio St's & Michigan's of the football world. Wonder how he would fit in at the Rover Position as he has a decent size/speed combination.

agree with this assessment but we have a QB right now who can’t hit our receivers downfield (Que the Hill play).
You also feed into my point and the lack of credence given to QBs who simply get the ball out on time and with touch.
Fast forward to 50 seconds for the Sims interception. Obviously the out is a timing route. Sims looks like he is looking for Kemp who is covered and not out of his break yet and then looks right, rolls out of the clean pocket? Then starts staring down his second read in Boerkicher and then throws it while on the run? It’s almost comical how bad he has been. Kind of hard for me to grasp how there isnt anyone better.
