Running List of Coaches Leaving NU 2024 Edition

I think it says something when our best pass rusher (Robinson) was a hand in the dirt, true DT…
I think Robinson catches on in the NFL. Knighton did a good job with him and Nash. Jimari Butler was wildly inconsistent. Lenhart wasn't as effective this year for some reason? Princewill had his moments but I think he battles some maturity issues.

McGahee is a fast twitch guy and I think a big effort guy. RVP looks to have some juice. I'm missing another freshman from Arizona but I can't think of his name...he had some juice too.

While we didn’t get many sacks I do feel we pressured and hurried many QBs at a good clip. Granted, sacks are better. But never once did I feel like statue QBs were sitting back and allowed to just sling it all over the yard without us getting in their faces

Maybe the numbers will prove me wrong though.

I know some aren’t high on RVP, but I feel like he’s going to be at the same level as Robinson real soon, which we need. My bet is McGahee blows up BIG next year. He flashed a ton of potential in big moments this year.

I think RVP will be as good as Ty Robinson. He's not as big, but a better athlete. The guy needs more time in the weight room, most young DL/OL do before playing in the Big 10.

Rhule has never missed on a DL coach and I don’t expect that to happen now.
Knighton moving on proves that even more.

We have begged to have a staff that moves to equal or better jobs - now we have that and we go "fucking Rhule fucked it all up"

No - Tony White was always going to leave within 3 years. He left after year 2, I don't care the reason. It was always going to happen. He's taking a guy that was crucial to his defense with him, who just so happens to be very early in his coaching career and is about to have 2 big time programs and NFL experience on his resume.

Everyone. Is. Replaceable.

Playing him wouldn’t have changed the season at all

I’m not going to say that RVP not playing means we lost games we otherwise wouldn’t have.

In the portal era, you don’t redshirt players that can help you when there’s no guarantee that they’re here next year.

Way too many times in key moments was VCJ on the field when it should have been RVP.

Didn't realize we only ended up with 26 sacks on the year. In comparison, somehow a Chins' lead defense had more in 2019.

Felt like we had 20 very early on in the season. Perhaps the DL wasn't as good as we thought it was, and that Ty basically carried that entire crew.
