Not a lot of fast twitch on Nebraska's DL this year. That's for sure.Feel like the strength and identity of our DL was as run stoppers and not pass rush/pressure. To me very little true pass rush talent.
Maybe master of the obvious there, but…
I think it says something when our best pass rusher (Robinson) was a hand in the dirt, true DT…Not a lot of fast twitch on Nebraska's DL this year. That's for sure.
I think Robinson catches on in the NFL. Knighton did a good job with him and Nash. Jimari Butler was wildly inconsistent. Lenhart wasn't as effective this year for some reason? Princewill had his moments but I think he battles some maturity issues.I think it says something when our best pass rusher (Robinson) was a hand in the dirt, true DT…
Hopefully Tony white doesn’t have too many cooks in the kitchen next year. We know how that goes
I know some aren’t high on RVP, but I feel like he’s going to be at the same level as Robinson real soon, which we need. My bet is McGahee blows up BIG next year. He flashed a ton of potential in big moments this year.I think Robinson catches on in the NFL. Knighton did a good job with him and Nash. Jimari Butler was wildly inconsistent. McGahee is a fast twitch guy and I think a big effort guy. RVP looks to have some juice. I'm missing another freshman from Arizona but I can't think of his name...he had some juice too.
I think RVP will be as good as Ty Robinson. He's not as big, but a better athlete. The guy needs more time in the weight room, most young DL/OL do before playing in the Big 10.I know some aren’t high on RVP, but I feel like he’s going to be at the same level as Robinson real soon, which we need. I would think he knows he is hard to scheme against and go from thereDana will find us a good dc and dline coach
Cause nobody blocked him cause they didn’t think he’d do anything lolIt was Purdoodoo and Buttgers that he went off on in back-to-back weeks.

And Purdue was possibly the worst team in the P4 this year.Cause nobody blocked him cause they didn’t think he’d do anything lol
Why? He wasn’t going to get much PT anyway.I hate that we redshirted him this year.
Playing him wouldn’t have changed the season at allI hate that we redshirted him this year.

Kinda messed up stillWeird that he was on the livestream today talking about the croots, but props to him sticking around through signing day at least.

Knighton moving on proves that even more.Rhule has never missed on a DL coach and I don’t expect that to happen now.

#WarDaddyUpDidn't realize we only ended up with 26 sacks on the year. In comparison, somehow a Chins' lead defense had more in 2019.
Felt like we had 20 very early on in the season. Perhaps the DL wasn't as good as we thought it was, and that Ty basically carried that entire crew.
