Random question - if Satt stays, how does that effect his contract? Can we have him not be the most expensive TE coach ever?

He'd have to voluntarily take a pay cut unless they just use FSU White-bucks on him

Remember though if we move McGuire to a non-staff role, he can't do recruiting visits. And he can't be lead recruiter on guys.

I know the rules are hazy but if he gets moved to an analyst role or recruiting dept role, he can actually do less recruiting.

However I know we've had non staff like Philip Simpson be involved somehow so I guess there's some things he could do. But Shorts would be the lead TX guy since he's the staff member I would assume.

Wouldn’t they just move him to a role like Mozee who is able to go on the road and recruit? That would make sense.

Can TW do us a favor and take Satt to FSU? 😂

Someone would need to brush me up on the rules. I know analysts cannot go on the road and recruit.

But we have recruiting dept employees like Simpson and Mozee who can? I'd need to defer to someone w knowledge of the rules

There are ten total guys that can go on the road and recruit at any time, but they don’t have to be the actual coaches. Additionally, analysts can do on-field coaching now too. In summary, there are no rules anymore.

I wish. If we had Dana with Williams recruiting and coaching it would be lights out for Cockeye. They wouldn't be able to score 13 and even be close.

Yep. no limits to assistant, just have to limit recruiters that go on the road to 10. They can be any 10 you want. Analyst jobs are kinda gone, everyone is an assistant coach.
