I’m not as in tune with the grain markets as I usually am and don’t have a feel for the market currently. But I know good pricing when I see it. That’s as high as giraffe pussy.

Yeah it's excellent right now. A lot of movement today. I bought around a 100k bushels of corn today. I'm happy for our local farmers!

Will they learn from the last bubble? Or will we see more over-extension? Lol. I was screaming at most of them last time to pay off your debts before you expand! We’ve seen shitty markets before and it’s naive to think they can’t/won’t come back! But nope. We’ve got all of this equity now so we should leverage it to pay 10% down on all of the ground in the county.

I really think most have learned their lessons. The price of input costs and fertilizer has most guys doing even more extensive pencil pushing just to make their margins scribble out!
