It's pretty damn good to go out for football for the first time a week before practice starts senior year and end up with OVs to Cockeye, Rutgers, Nebraska and Washington. Word must have spread fast, which says tons about his potential.

He’s raw but I really like how to catches the ball with his hands and bodies defenders out of the way.

Taft has an uncommitted 2023 LB from Aurora, IL, that we are apparently interested in - BJ Mayes. Taft, a well-regarded Prep school with great academics, has an OT who committed to Stanford this year and they usually turn out 1-2 FBS and a few FCS players every year.
