When punting, your stride has to be in rhythm and your last one is generally the large one. The last two steps are the money steps where you generate power. If you watch Cerni, he’s short and choppy on all of his steps especially his last two. As you watch him strike this ball, you’ll notice he’s leaning forward where his head is basically over the ball. You’ll notice he rolls right, as he strikes his hips are going left, and his follow through isn’t up and through the ball. It’s through the ball more on a line. Like he’s kicking this ball from the ground. His last follow through here you’ll see he lands on his kicking foot.
He had no control and no idea where this ball was going.
