How about Cockeye last night? They lose at home to Minnesota and shoot a dismal 3-21 from beyond the arc. It’s crazy to think that just a few days ago against Nebraska, they went 17-35 from deep.
I know Nebraska isn’t exactly elite at defending the three, but in the last four games, opponents have been scorching hot, shooting over 40% from deep in each contest. Something has to give, right?
Maryland: 10-25 (40%)
Rutgers: 12-29 (41%)
Purdue: 19-33 (58%)
Cockeye: 17-35 (49%)
Nebraska needs to figure out how to cool teams down from three if they want to stay competitive.
