Prayers to Greg Sharpe

February 22nd will be a special day for the Sharpe family!

Full disclosure: I'm going to bawl like a baby when the posts come in of him at his daughter's wedding. May he continue to fight and keep that positive attitude. That's more than a lot of people would have the will to do in those shoes.

Truly a sad day for not only all of Husker nation but college sports as a whole. One of the best people in the business. Greg treated others the way you want to be treated.

May his soul rest in peace and his family find the solace they need. God bless you Greg.

That really sucks he didn’t make it to his daughter’s wedding. Hopefully they can find peace in the fact that he isn’t in pain anymore. We as Husker fans will miss his voice on the radio. Prayers to the Sharpe family and friends who knew him the best.

Agree. It will be a bittersweet day for her.

Prayers to the whole family.

This was my first thought too. Just a week away.

The man was the best there was. Husker broadcasts will never be the same. R.I.P Greg. Fuck cancer.
