Anyone else heard anything about possibly taking two QBs? If (if) that's the legit info, you have to think Whipple doesn't like what he's seen on film from our current guys. TBH, I feel like that's the kind of thing that could spark an exodus of current players. I feel like if you really need that much help, it would make more sense to take one guy now, and then wait until after you've had a chance to evaluate guys in spring to see if you really need another.

I haven't seen anything more than some posters on 247 saying that's what they should do like @Baron Winnebago said if they do it's probably going to be a 1-year guy and a multiple year guy that will bring some competition for the young QBs on the roster. For the rest of it including Nebraska going after the WR from UTEP I looked around earlier and didn't see anyone else talking about that info, not saying he's wrong, I just didn't see where he was getting his info from.

I think Chubba was the Pitt guy, but they picked Slovis or he beat Chubba to the punch or they might want to take 2 also. But like you said I wouldn't be surprised if they took Chubba and an older guy.

If you care about keeping your current guys, it's gotta be a lot easier to sell a guy with only one year left to your current roster. "We're just taking a guy to replace Adrian's last year." Even a guy with two years you could call a replacement for Adrian + Luke. Three or more and I feel like Smothers probably bails.
