I was watching to UCF game last night and he did more coaching in a quarter than I've ever seen Frost do. they were down 21 points and he got his team together and came back. We'll see how the rest of the season goes but he's on the radar for sure. UCF would be so pissed haha

Army went 2-10 under him in 2015 and 5-8 in 2019. He's had pretty good seasons overall playing an average schedule. I agree I might be on board with a great OC hire but it's not exactly a homerun hire.

Doesn't Army still run the flexbone? If so, hard pass. That's like running the option these days. Nice wrinkle maybe but not your whole offense. I like the idea of Monken being a good leader and head coach but if he came in here and tried to run the flexbone I would lose my shit

Monken is known for their defense in the coaching world. That's why I'd want him. Just bring in an OC that knows what they are doing. Go pay Moorhead a bunch of money.
