So I know that Omar was definitely at practice Monday and there may have been “body language issues” and that he got called out for. I talked to Waterboy briefly last night and he did not mention anything about him being gone Tuesday or Wednesday, but we didn’t talk much about receivers other than Betts has started taking more reps with the first rotation. That makes it seem as though Betts has taken Omar’s reps. So I can’t really confirm he’s MIA, but it certainly wouldn’t surprise me at this point just reading between the lines.
Also, I feel like Waterboy has clammed up on stuff the last week or so regarding injuries and potential attrition. He knows I post his nugs and is ok with it, but I get the feeling Frost may have told the support staff to keep stuff in house. I asked about Jurgens and he just said “all I can say is he’s day to day.”
I don’t want to push it too much and get anyone in trouble so I’m going to keep just taking what he gives me.
