Saying he’s overrated is an even dumber take. He just went to Elite 11 and made kids look like 3rd graders throwing next to him.

The kid had a better arm than Martinez when he came and threw here in the 8th grade bahaha
who used the word overrated? you not me

you called him a generational talent. bizarre

Lame!
Hope he fails, unless he transfers here later, then I hope he succeeds, but only after he fails sufficiently first.
I don't really want him if that's how it goes. If he sucks for Georgia then is that really a good thing for Nebraska? His star power for recruiting will be gone

My hope is Nebraska has a good QB and isn't forced to drop to their knees for this kid. It would be so sweet for Rhule to have the program rolling and not have to beg for players to transfer like the place Frost and Pelini and Riley were at. Build the program back up and let the program decide it's success, can't be the other way around where we are always hoping for a savior.

Questions heading into the fall

On3 was the first national outlet to tab Dylan Raiola as the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle. We’ve been high on his ability and upside for some time. He now ranks as the No. 7 overall prospect and No. 1 quarterback in what looks to be one of the weaker cycles at the position in a few years. With that said, there are some questions around his evaluation heading into his senior season.

Raiola simply did not look as comfortable as a junior at Chandler when compared to his sophomore year at Burleson. There was less playmaking and overall confidence in the play. Some of his throws tended to hang and many of the big gains came on busted coverages and runs after the catch.

We also want to see more mobility. Quarterback is becoming an increasingly athletic position. The ability to escape pressure and pick up yardage on the ground at the high school level is very telling when projecting future top draft picks. Raiola’s -82 rushing yards as a junior would be a massive outlier relative to nearly any NFL Draft pick at the position, let alone a first-rounder. For comparison, the last 26 first-round quarterbacks averaged 634 rushing yards as seniors. I have not seen a quarterback with negative rushing yards taken highly in recent history. He’s a bigger-bodied quarterback with the last verified weight coming in at 228 pounds over a year ago. Anthony Richardson was the biggest first-round quarterback in recent memory as a high school senior, checking in at 225 pounds (while running a verified 4.50 40).

You throwing shade at his junior year is even more bizarre.

Hell if i’m him i sit my senior season out. No need risking injury until he’s behind a real OL at Georgia.
It’s actually a genius move on his part. The moment he commits to us both his knees would spontaneously explode. He’s obviously waiting until his high school career has concluded to commit to us.

He can be a Husker later if he wants. Because he's not one now, I must actively root against him. Top recruit choses defending champion... Real original.

Generational physical talent, legitimate questions about production.

Half the recruiting assessment is having the frame/raw ability for coaches to mold, and 133/133 teams would dump any of their backup QBs if needed to take him. Still no guarantees that it will work out, and as a jilted fan, I will choose to focus on the red flags.

see how easy this is?
