We definitely looked better running to the right side except for Johnson’s long run. Running behind Scott and the bulldozer and Benhart. I did notice that.

Left side with Corc & Evans was solid
This is an above average line.
Been awhile since we’ve seen push against anyone (even directional schools)
Next week will tell more but Corc looked really good & Dowdell appears to be the most complete & potential game breaker once he gets comfortable
I love Emmitt, but Dowdell has something extra.

One small detail I appreciated about yesterday…

At some point during fall camp I believe either Rhule or Satt made a statement along the lines of “if you fumble, you won’t be touching the ball again.” I dismissed it as empty coach speak, but after Dowdell fumbled yesterday he got exactly 0 more touches.

Good to see coaches following through with what they’re preaching.
