Someone needs to make a Club Pro Guy-esque Twitter parody account satirizing our football reporters. Specifically their use of terms like "arm talent," "gonna be a dude/guy/dawg," "room" etc, their insistence on wearing the clothes they slept in to press conferences, the dumbass questions and so on.

I think a few things can be derived from the media q&a after practice today. But the main one is that the offense is getting worked by the defense.

Should Nebraska fans panic?

Glass half empty: Absolutely and we've seen all those reasons in this thread and all the other ones.

But for you glass half full fans out there like myself: I would be a lot more worried if this were the other way around. We should expect this from a defense that is in its 5th year with the same: DC, DB, ILB coach and like 3rd or 4th year with the DL/Edge coach in some capacity VS an offense that is replacing its top WR, TE, starting QB, best OL coming off a knee injury, OC, OL coach, RB coach and WR coach. I know everybody wants to grind their teeth about losing Damion Daniels and Ben Stille but those guys are replaceable and have been replaced. By as good of players? Maybe not. But Nebraska will be better at ILB and Edge this year...because those guys are all back and were pretty damn good last year. In the secondary they do replace a 2nd rounder and that's tough. But those safeties last year were very very replaceable and the DB room has been recruited well with very good continuity.

In conclusion. Worry about the offense? Yeah maybe. But I'm going to trust that this defense is good this year. A lot of experienced talent on that side of the ball.
