The way it came off it seemed like it was at the time of the hire when you said no one wanted those other guys.

Frost could have had the Florida job. He was the hot up and coming coach. We were all pounding our chests when we got him.

My point was....you lose your HC bc your HC does such a great job at your school that other schools want him.

While at NU, no one wanted Solich. No one wanted Callahan/Cosgrove. No one wanted Pelini (save for like 1-2 offseasons). No one wanted Riley.

And while at NU, no one wanted Scott Frost.

Every NU coach since Osborne has played themselves out of a better or equal gig.

How did Boston College land Bill O'Brien? I remember him being in the converstation when we were looking in 2022. Seems like he had a pretty good coaching repuation. Thought he might be able to do better than Boston College. Has his star faded?
