October recruiting thread

I’ve said this somewhere on the World Wide Web, pretty sure it was here, but:

Much like Baker, I don’t think we should spend more of our hopes and dreams on Brix. In this case I believe he will end up at a much lower tier school after OU and NU and KSU all fill up. I have no evidence to support what I’m about to say, this is just a hunch, but I feel he’d prefer staying in a smaller town atmosphere and not have the pressure of big time football right away. But he also feels off about turning down those schools.

Should go to Northwest Missouri State if that’s the case. Ain’t quite no place like the Maryville

He will end up N because he's so N it hurts.

This class needs a Tackle. I don’t see us moving on to nothing.

Wait until he gets a taste of that big college little pussy though. Game changer for a small town plow boy.

The class won’t be full without his commitment

Caleb Benning isn’t above Brix on the target list. If we’d wait for Benning we’ll wait for Brix.
Except that we’ve starting sending out more offers and we are in a numbers crunch as it is for 2024. He doesn’t have an endless offer especially if we get some commitments from a person or two that we’ve offered.

I think he’ll be N.

If ND loses but is offering more NIL it’s a tough decision. If ND wins showing they are a top 12 team AND they are offering more NIL than us, I don’t know why you’d turn it down.

I agree in Matt Runza’s belief around how we can’t be paying kids who haven’t done shit more than the ones who have. We can get creative, though. How can we get him something outside of the 1890 framework and maybe something specific to the region of NE he’s from. Advertising for a shit ton of local businesses in an easy way.

That’s the thing though; he would probably get more NIL, especially from Western Nebraska businesses, if he stayed in Nebraska.
