QB play didn’t lose us the game today and the only game I looked at and say that it for sure lost it for us was Purdue.

I can handle a freshman QB and a freshman RB screwing up an exchange and fumbling. I don’t love it and it still shouldn’t happen. But I also kind of get that it’s just an experience and reps thing.

What I can’t stand anymore is the special teams. The only way Cockeye was going to win today was if they scored non-offensive points. If we didn’t give them 12 points today, we were going to win by double digits. I can’t handle losing games anymore in that fashion. I can’t handle the little things being fucked up that cost you games. For example, Garrett Nelson gets flagged for lining up offsides. It takes us from Cockeye being 3rd and 8, to them being 2nd and 3. They got points on that drive because the next play they ran to fullback to the 20.

Good teams do those things right. We’ll find out if Frost and his guys are capable of putting a winning team on the field next year or it’s donzo. Someone should be charged with a crime for them not making a bowl game, minimum this year. Zero reason this team shouldn’t have won at least 8 games with a chance at 9 in the bowl game. Minimum.
