Watching Koch punt at the 1890 practice and he didn’t have near the pop that Buschini had. I wonder if he still needs more S&C.

If he doesn't have pop off the foot already, he's likely never going to have it. Needing extra S&C as a punter is not a good sign.

NOTE: Haven't seen him punt, but if he is mid or worse now, wouldn't expect some big jump if his leg isn't already good enough as a scholly punter.

It's probably not a good sign but it was also one short glimpse during one practice. Who knows injury status or anything like that.

But in the world of the 105 now we probably can't hang on to projects as positions like this. If we want to win our key special teams players must be good now.

Is this still a target? Or did we tell him to fo?

Mizzou seems like a place where there are shenanigans going on. Recruits maybe going there to take advantage of NIL for a year, and MU screwing them over. Lacy was the 3rd string back, but seems like they brought him back late in the season for a couple games for barely any touches, which screwed him out of his redshirt. No injuries to the top 2 backs, and a 4th string running back that played almost as much as Lacy.

Hard to tell a lot from these stats, but nothing much stands out as far as any plays made.

He has 3 years right? How many does EJ have left? 2?

Saw that. I bet he's pissed they wasted a years salary.

Personally like Parker better anyway.

Technique technique technique. You can get someone to kick farther and higher. But they have to have the appropriate technique in order for any amount of S&C to matter.

I drastically improved punting and kicking from the floor when I was playing soccer year to year. There is a ton more technique to it than the average person realizes. I liken it to driving a golf ball. There’s about 6 or 7 things you have to focus on that all seem little. But one or two of those little things become very big things.

Poster on RSS saying this guy is on campus. QB target.

Marcos Davila during the All-American Bowl team practices...

5. Marcos Davila

"Marcos Davila has flashed the strongest arm among East quarterbacks through two days of practice. The 6-foot-2.5, 235-pounder has a big arm and has shown his ability to drive the ball downfield. Davila’s accuracy and ball location was a bit sporadic on Day 1, but he picked things up on Day 2 and got hot towards the end of the joint practice. The Purdue signee is at his best when kept clean and allowed to rip throws downfield. – Charles Power"

I will decide who we have a chance with and until I can triple confirm this I'm going to delete and ban any further discussion.
