Secondary literally could have had 3 more int's if we had any sort of gamers back there. Hartzog tries man, but he is just too short and is a liability against big WR's.

I don't know why they kept putting him on dudes who could body him. Definitely ain't an elite athlete like Dennard who could make up for the size gap

Felt like a team L to me. Offense didn't do enough. Defense didn't do enough. Somehow special teams wasn't a trainwreck outside of punt returns

It's almost like special teams helps you win games at the margins and our trainwreck special teams dating back to like the Pelini years have something to do with this

At least we could play the young ones to see what we actually have in a game situation with no pressure instead of the same sad sack crew that has been put out there year after year

Rhule has been a MAJOR disappointment so far.
-Hiring Satt, Foley, McGuire and a very underwhelming staff when he had a ton of money to spend
- Picking Jeff Sims as the QB last year
- Clock management blunders (last year 1st half vs. Minnesota)
- Playing too aggressive (last drive against MD)
- Playing too conservative (last drive against Wisconsin)
- Not firing Satt in the off season
- Not firing Foley in the off season

I’m too angry to list all the shit from this year.

It also pisses me off that they look kinda ok pushing the ball down the field during 2 minutes drills but forget to do that the other 56 minute of the game

Offense looked better today. That gives me the slimmest glimmer of hope.

Defense was the same, some great stuff, some horrendously bad stuff.

Special Teams, were not a serious team in that area. Rhule clearly doesn’t value it. If he did, he wouldn’t allow the shit we see. I’m glad Hohl can make field goals. Our return game is one of the worst in the country.

Clock management/game management is still terrible. Calling a timeout just to draw USC offsides is beyond stupid. Not using your final timeout is inexcusable.

What does Rhule do well?? I’m really struggling to come up with something

Same, I can already see the Cockeye field goal kicker running laps around the stadium after kicking the game winner against us. I wish that game was more meaningless for us, but of course we will give them the extra satisfaction of keeping us from bowl eligibility
