Tony whites career length at jobs since leaving sdsu — high probability he’s gone this season.

This board is all over the place. Tony White isn’t good enough for us and we hope Rhule brings in a real defensive coordinator but he may end up getting hired at an elite school to do the same job he does here.

Which big game over the last 2 years has the defense rose to the occasion to win us a game? I don't know if he's the issue or if Butler isn't all we thought he'd be but we have issues that are getting exposed

FWIW, all 10 wins under Rhule have come when the defense allows 14 or fewer points. so statistically, if our defense isn't dominant our chances of winning have been essentially 0%

You’re advocating for tossing the baby out with the bath water here. We have a top 25 defense and you guys want to fire our fucking coordinator.

And to answer your question:

This year - Colorado and Buttgers
Last year - Illinois, Northwestern, and they damn sure did enough to win against Cockeye.

Those are the games that we won specifically because of the defense, there were other wins where the defense played great and the offense was more in sync.

Our offense has sucked donkey balls. That is most of the problem.

Yes, we have some holes on defense - primarily LB and at Safety. But overall, defense is far ahead of our offense, especially when considering how we lose games. When the defense has gotten booty blasted, like Indianus, yeah, we lose BIG time. Overall defense is good enough for us to win at least 8 games this year and last year.
