I agree, mainly because KU knows its the best case scenario for them and the Big 10 has no other "easy" option. (as in not currently in a strong conference and not under a long term contract with said conference)
Hopefully Alvarez knows he has KU in the pocket and is right now working on another school so the Big 10 can add them Noah's Ark style.
Especially if the other school is not 1 of remaining Big 12 leftovers, because it will be very difficult getting any school out of the Pac12/ACC/SEC. (in this order of difficulty)
