This "Field of Dreams" game on Fox is pretty cool.

watched the movie with my wife and forgot how stupid the “gonna lose the farm” plot line was cuz of the field taking up all of the 2 acres that would have been dryland corn in the mid 80s

Even today 2ac of profit from corn ain’t breaking any farm.

You gotta suspend belief when watching a movie. They’re all riddled with factual inconsistencies (i.e. leaps of faith), but that’s what makes them entertainment and not documentaries. 😎

I think your timing for your Princess cruise to Alaska was spot on. I just got an email from the Princess CEO today outlining their new Covid protocols. Good grief, they are straight out of the pre vaccine era.

All passengers vaccinated-that's fine. It's their ship.

Need a negative test 3 days before departure for all vaccinated passengers. Follow the science, umm yeah.

Masks for all public spaces at all times and required at dinner until the food is served. More mask restrictions may be implemented if warranted.

Especially the part where the ball player comes out of the cornfield and asks Kevin Costner "Is this heaven?" "No, it's Cockeye." That took a lot of suspension of disbelief. ⚾ ⚾ ⚾

I guess part of me isn’t surprised. We got back from Scottsdale last night, and the Mrs. made a grocery run to Wal-Mart today. They’re “requesting” that everyone wear masks while shopping in their stores again. She said it was at least 80% compliance with that request. Here we go again! ☹️
