MLPFC Shit Posting

Western Nebraska is a hidden treasure hiding in plain sight. I reintroduced myself to about 800 miles of country roads in July and I enjoyed every minute of it.

FWIW, the pioneers on the Oregon, Mormon and California trails loved it too, Platte River was pretty easy to ford, the grass was plentiful for the oxen and it was flat so less stress on the wagons. So much history to absorb all the way from Fairbury to Scottsbluff.
You’re my fav @bbenson67

Haven’t seen you on TFSF for a bit. Hope you still stop by periodically.

@scotchfrost9697 thinking of trading my 350 off on this rig. 2018 loaded as much as a lariat can be loaded. 75k miles, 1 owner. Thing is basically flawless.

Bought a clean little 1990 international single axle tractor with a 466 diesel and 10 speed for pulling stock trailer, flat bed etc for 5k so I really dont need a 1 ton daily driver that rides like a lumber wagon.

My 2013 has 190k miles, they'll trade me for 20k. My pickup definitely starting to show that it's been used on the farm.

if you dont need it (f350) to pull anymore than its the way to go for sure. my f350 is by far the roughest riding vehicle ive ever had but damn its reliable & effortless pulling any damn thing.

hey @Woodrow F Call I fucked around and made my dream F250 King Ranch on Ford's website after seeing @scotchfrost9697 post his ride

came out to $73,640 not including tax, also it was only $280 for the PTO added on... peanuts considering the total bill, hell yes give me it idk if I'll ever use it but fuck me if someday I would want it and I didn't click the option cuz I wanted to save $280

I bet scotch would hire you to pull a twin power rake with it.

I had zero idea PTOs were a factory option now/ever

My work vehicle is a F150 King Ranch with the 5.0. Love it

@God is a Husker how tf does a pto work on a pickup 🤔🤔🤔
I'd have to assume off the transmission

I had no idea either.

Ford = $280 upgrade but have to select the 7.2L gas engine

Chevy = ~$800 but can only get it with their 6.6L Diesel

But like I said…. now it’s in my head

I assumed by PTO it was referencing the on-board generators that are in the new Fords......

I was curious so I looked it up. Legit Power take off option from the factory. I assumed that was all add on aftermarket stuff done by companies that install boom lifts, dump beds, etc.
