we are both on board. we have more than enough equity in our current house to make this happen. we just dont have that much cash laying around until we list and sell our house

na man, some Indians (southern or bengal) smell sometimes but thats from BO (sweat and food)

now imagine a country with hundreds of millions of them, then animals everywhere and I mean everywhere it doesn't matter if you're in downtown Mumbai there will be cows/horses/chickens/etc. and then on top of that storm throw in the 2nd most pollution in the world

the cities are the worst, the countryside isn't bad at all

imagine the biggest feed lot you have ever been to but its 112 degrees and thats Indian cities
The domestic flights within India aren’t great experiences from a sensory perspective either.

ill just provide a link

it is in bfe about 15 miles west of me
The fact that they've apparently conveyed the standing bar in the living room is a clear sign from God that yore intended to host a MLPFC house warming soiree in your new abode. You can put @Elizabeth Reed and I in any one of the outbuildings and we'll be just fine. Also, he tends to break things when he's been drinkin'. Fun just follows us around.

Wife had terrible taste in color but husband definitely knew what he was doing in the garage.

@scotchfrost9697, you have to be more secretive considering the limited real estate availability in the area. I might bid against you. Wait, 40 minute commute...I'm out. Good luck.

First of all, you’ve always taken very good care of me when I’ve been a little “tipsy”. And I thank you for that.....😇😍🥳

Regarding sleeping arrangements, can I have whichever shed has the built-in mosquito zapper system in place. Us Panhandle boys tend to shy away from those little bastards.

My real question for @scotchfrost9697 is how any listing like this has been on the market for 51 days?? With most homes in today’s market, homes/properties are sold for full asking price (or higher) before they ever get listed. Odd....

We bought the place we lived the past 2 years for 460 and sold it for 520

I did so much work on the interior and machine shed (plus fenced in the yard) that we basically broke even.

With today’s prices tho we would have lost money. Can’t even fvcking believe how expensive building materials are right now

Location BB

We see it all the time out here, there isn’t a ton of people who can afford an expensive house and there REALLY isn’t a ton of people who can afford it and want to live that far out from town.

We had our house/12 acre homestead listed all Summer and Fall. Only got 2 serious people looking at it.

most farmers or ranchers look at a $500k home as a giant waste of money vs. for that same amount of money they can spend $200k on remodeling their current home and then $300k on new ground or equipment

as the guy who farmed all the land around us told me: “for $520,000 I can buy 2 irrigated quarters and someday my son will be able to build a house like that”

Like I said, not a ton of people who can afford homes like that and want to live in the outback

if that house was a mile away from where i live now it wouldve sold instantly, but the price and location is a big factor. she listed it 3 years ago for 690,000. our current house wouldnt sell 3 years ago either, but everything was pretty much 1976 original. we bought it for 35,000 under appraisal and we updated every room along with a number of other things. back patio, finished garage etc. our appraisal for our house comes back today and im expecting the value shouldve jumped 30k from 2017

I was up in MN last week for the MIL's funeral proceedings. My BIL (well, he would be if he was stoopid enough to marry the wildebeest that is my SIL, but so far he's not jumped on that grenade) has an uncle who has literally made a fortune in lumber for decades. He warned Jerry that lumber was about to CRASH. Apparently, there are over 80,000 full loads of lumber sitting in Oh Canada, We Stand on Guard for Thee simply waiting for clearance from the US Gubmint to head south. The high price of lumber is about to come down; way down. Great news for guys ITT who have been considering building or remodeling their homes. FYI.
