Finally got a place with a yard. Half of it is moss because it used to be a forest. Is there anything better than mowing a lawn?

It’s currently snowing here in Badgerville. Well, it’s actually cottonwood tree seeds, but the air is filled with them. Gotta remember to keep the fins on the air conditioner cleaned off on a regular basis for a while.

I have camp this week so won’t be at home but the weather this week will result in a jungle. Although it helps that half my yard is moss.

Put a brisket on last night around 8:30. Looks great so far this morning. Probably gonna eat around 6 tonight. You all are invited……😎

Rest of the weekend will be planting the garden, hoping to plant two new trees and general landscaping shit.

Plus, getting ready to head back to spend a few days with my mom and maybe a chance encounter with @LoudHogRider and/or @Kinish !!

July sometime. Dates are uncertain as we’re in the middle of dealing with my 89 yo MIL and her recent stay at the local ER, then ICU, then regular room and now trying to find a room at one of the local nursing homes for a 20-day rehab stay.

I’ll let you and Hog know as soon as we lock something in.

We were supposed to head back May 30th for nine days but I got sicker than shit on Sunday May 28th and didn’t get out of bed for 4-5 days.

A 24 hour bug that lasted 5 fucking days. And I never get sick. But this kicked my ass. Never had a headache that bad. Fuck me……😎
