MLPFC Shit Posting

Spent all day in 2 depositions of law enforcement (Bates County MO Sheriff’s Office) who had to use a bumper grappler to stop a defendant that was in a high speed chase across 3 counties.

Example of a Bumbler Grappler

I wanted to play the Cops theme song on my phone so bad after the Sgt. testified about the takedown.

Getting ready to grill up steaks on our weekly NY Strip Friday night. They can take the boy out of Nebraska but they can't the Nebraska out of the boy.
We’ve got a lot going on this weekend. One child’s first communion. Dance recital. And a birthday. Have some prime ready to smoke. Along with a pork butt and some smoked max and cheese. Ready to cook up a feast.

Made the Scottsbluff to Beebeetown drive yesterday in a personal best of 6 hours/35 minutes. Listened to GIAH’s red dirt music the entire way. Mrs Bomber has a deep nasty chest cold so she’s home on the couch watching the Hallmark Channel, thus I’m flying solo this trip.

My siblings and I are in the process of transitioning my 93 yr old mom into a hospice situation, although she’s not the traditional hospice candidate. No terminal cancer, no terminal COPD/respiratory condition, no advanced diabetes.

What she does have is a blood clot on her right lung. Reduced lung capacity, reduced leg strength, etc. She’s still got a great fighting spirit and has every intention of being around a year from now. Fingers crossed.

Anyway……spent the day running errands around Omaha for my mom and then one of our son’s and his family drove out to the farm to join us for supper. And my son and his fam are driving over from Des Moines tomorrow morning to also spend a little time with our matriarch. ❤️

Looking forward to watching our VB girls turn up the fun dial in Central City tomorrow against WSU. Should be fun getting to see Beason and the new freshmen getting their chance to show off. GBR!!

Hope you boys who could use some rain get all you need over the next 60 days and hope yore May Day basket has a few icy cold Silver Bullets in it………😎🍺👍

Hope you and the family are doing good and have a safe trip and everybody enjoys the moments together. Praying for you.

As to the Red dirt country part,
You’re confusing me with somebody else cuz I legit don’t even know what red dirt country music is other than knowing it’s from Texas and not Nashville and apparently they are different.

Almost all of country music I listen to is pre-1985, I mostly stick with Waylon, Willie, Cash, or the older like Jimmie Rogers, or Hank Williams. Etc.

I’m more early days of Rock n roll or rockabilly type guy. Fuck the Beatles, I’m all Elvis. (My favorite artist is Bob Seger)

After further review (and using that “search” thingy) I have cleared some cobwebs from my foggy old brain. That said, the fact remains that I have found a solid list of new bands to listen to.
