Majority of herds wean at 6-7 months and gotta background 90 days to get em that big. Keep doing what you're doing man.

thank you brother. like i said i cull hard for productivity and i know my cows have to produce. spot on shes 1300, i try to shoot for a 1250-1300 lb cow who will wean a 600+ calf. feel like im going the right way, i think in 10
years ill be able to put my cattle next to anybodys and be able to say mine are just as “nice”. there will be a day i bring you some cattle.
