Granted that I was only 18 but I did 50% of the work and zero % of the income. Well.....except for that roof over my head, meals and gas.

And the brand new New Holland baler when I was 14 and got to keep 100% of the custom baling money.....$.10 per bale. While my buddies were picking up, and stacking, the bales, making $2 an hour in 1966.

PS: American flag GOP elephant on the front page is so God Damn 308 it’s beautiful.

At the risk of being asked to spend time in a Hy-Vee parking lot, this frontpage does a lot to help me understand the thoughts of locals close to where I grew up. That said, I hate McCook. They beat us in every sport, ever, and also hosted the American Legion state baseball tournament where my team went 0-2.

The editor would have received a C+ at best from my high school journalism teacher, but an A+ in "if it bleeds, it leads."

At any rate, there are probably seven registered democrats in Red Willow County, so maybe it doesn't matter. 🤔

We have the reverse problem.

BILs and I tried to get my FIL to finally retire by giving him a 33% share in 4 different hotels that are all managed.

Just sit back and get money.... but he is a never stop moving type A former Farmer maniac who is working like 60 hours a week and refuses to not micromanage.

PS: if you see him again, he got a new High Country Silverado (white) but he still smokes Marlboro Golds and drives like an asshole
