I always look forward to @Woodrow F Call pictures. A veritable Norman Rockwell in capturing midwestern daily life. Gets me right in the homesick feels.

It’s funny you mention this. I have a Nebraska photography book that captures a lot of the same farm, small town-esque pictures. Couple that with some Ted Kooser poetry and I’m full on home sick.

Not gonna lie, as a youngun growing up in Nebraska when we actually learned Nebraska history, I was so dang proud that it was our fair state that founded Arbor Day.

I recall it being a Big Deal in Nebraska City, where my Dad was from.
