Ironically, if you're going by "teams represented in the playoffs" the "NFL parity league" is actually lower than baseball.
Why? Because you can't spend your way out of bad decisions is my guess.
In case others don't know, a big reason the Dodgers are able to spend what they do is because of their TV deal. They get to keep a much larger % of their deal than other teams. Has to do with a circa 2012 deal they struck with the MLB during the divorce of the McCourt's, who were the sole owners of the franchise.
Since the above, the Dodgers have won the West every season but one. It's not a coincidence...

IIRC, it's over in 2032. I think the deal was for 20 years. Still, ridiculous advantage for LA.
