Oh, my hatred for the dodgers is easily the most childish thing
It's funny because I feel like Braves fans are split on the Dodgers, with some of them being kind of ambivalent and the other half absolutely hating them. The Main Board is full of Braves fans, so I would always join their postseason threads when the Dodgers were playing them in the postseason over the years to at least talk ball and just try not to be an asshole. Those were always such good series and unlike the Padres and Astros, the Braves are just a likeable team without any polarizing douchebags. I always found myself rooting for them when the Dodgers were eliminated.

My hatred for the Dodgers stems from them being annoyingly good, full stop. “Annoyingly good” is the perfect description of them.

2020 postseason I thought the Braves should have won the series with the dodgers. But the dodgers seriously flipped a switch when they were down 3-1 and won it. It was almost like they said “Wait, you guys didn’t actually think you were gonna win did you?”

Every single at bat Max Muncy has in a Braves series I can absolutely tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt when he’ll hit a bomb.

I know it’s been a couple years, but i still can’t believe they let Freeman go, Matt Olson fine but I’d rather have Freddie

Let’s not act like if they wanted to the braves couldn’t have worked it out and not immediately traded for Olson

The Braves approached Freddie’s people in July of 2020 about an extension. It obviously didn’t happen.

Freddie’s representation was in the wrong hence why they are no longer his representation. This was a case of a player not remembering he is the boss and his agent going rogue.

The Braves didn’t trade for Olson until March 14th of 2022. Which was a day after players reported to spring training.

Not signing Freddie set off a series of two large trades in consecutive off seasons that saw Shea Langeliers and William Contreras get shipped off to Oakland and Milwaukee respectively; both players who are playing extremely well for their respective orgs. This was trade 1 and 2 of Alex Anthopoulos giving up real prospect capital in a trade. Something he was completely reluctant to do until then.

It’s abundantly clear that the Braves wanted Freddie and it’s clear it was plan A,B, and C. It’s also clear that it’s his now former representation’s fault he’s not.
