Rich people boostering an athletic program don't want to hear about how you're going to save them money, they want to hear about how you're going to run a championship program.

Lol, neither one of us has any fucking clue about how Turd does business these days, but the dude who goes off about equally aligned incentives in press conferences is very much a corporate dude. I am not proud of this, but I was picking up the kids from school and listening to 1620. Simple was on and he and the hosts were intimating that Mickey can't necessarily secure the HC job over the next 2 games, but he could lose it. I think Simple may even have an article coming out in regards to this.

Anyway, Turd cannot possibly be taking a wait and see approach with MJ can he? There is no way a couple wins or losses should change his thoughts on who the next HC could be.

Man, if this is Turd's approach, that is real scary thought. I mean, win the next 2, lose the next 2 or split them, it shouldn't matter. You can't pick your next coach in a vacuum.

At this point, wouldn't you think if Turd wants Mickey its his job to sell the hire if Mickey doesn't finish strong. Same if Mickey finishes strong, but doesnt get HC. Turd will have to explain his choices.

I can't imagine the results over the next few games can matter.

If Turd thinks Mickey is the guy, just make him the guy. This team is shit so it's.obviously a process assessment rather than a current results assessment.

I don't agree with the move, but fucking Mickey over in the crootin cycles for 6 weeks and then making him the guy is a an even more moronic move

Mickey either knows he's coming back next year or knows he's a finalist for the job. I can't imagine an interim putting in the kind of effort he is on the recruiting trail otherwise.
