I don’t mean to be a Deab on this and I don’t think @HuskerGarrett will mind me saying, but a lot of the people who contribute content to TPB and EPP have been working a lot of different angles trying to find out what the situation is with Mickey. I’m sure someone will update the board as soon as they hear.

You’ve been pretty spot on tonight but I think you’re over reacting on this one.

Remember what Frost’s clear goal is: small tweaks to get us over the hump. Someone to take some stress off of him in-game. Someone to be another set of eyes upstairs for mid-game adjustments. Again, if it’s Willie Korn, he isn’t getting the keys to the vehicle. He’s just getting a co-pilot.

They will scheme together. They will game plan together. They adjust together. The only difference between this year and next year will be who holds the play sheet during games, but the play sheet is ultimately developed by Frost. And that’s not a bad thing if you stand by what you said: Frost consistently out-schemed his opponents this season.

Maybe I’m overreacting, but my thing is that we’ve got a clear chance to upgrade here. Is Willy Korn the guy you want as your eye in the sky? Is he capable of being that guy? I’d rather be a lot more calculated than gambling on Korn. Make no mistake, every hire is a gamble, but there are definitely ways to increase your odds at the table.

Honestly, at this point I don’t think anyone has heard anything but good news on Mickey. I’m sure we’ll know more today.
