Both.... there is chatter going on and he refers to Ek in the past tense in that video.I provided two options and you said yes. So I assume at this point you are trolling.

I can't whole heartedly dispute any of that.I am sorry, I get this is a big accomplishment....... but the failures of other coaches doesn't make this some resounding accomplishment.
Somebody needs to tell the person who writes the checks this.
See this lost its standing with me........
The easy answer to this is look at Indiana.
But I will say, I was fine with the building it the long way. My problems came in week 1 vs Minnesota where we saw coaching incompetence. Stuff that was not related to get better players, but simple strategy of the game was failing.
You can get better players, but if you can't manage a game it doesn't matter.
Pelini was way better than Rhule.I can't whole heartedly dispute any of that.
Failures of the past have led to where we are now. Doesn't excuse Rhule's mistakes or lack of consistency within the program but his bowl appearances, while not resounding accomplishments, are still better than the norm over the past 15 years.
Indiana is a Unicorn. And it remains to be seen as to how long the dominance will last. Bottom line is Cignetti is a better coach then Rhule and perhaps everyone else coaching at the D1 level. Unless we are going to get him to come to NU... we might as well stay the course for just a bit longer. We know from the past that jumping ship from one coach to another has not boded well for NU.
Remember when we used to make fun of him for only winning 9 games a year. Good times...Pelini was way better than Rhule.
He atleast took care of Minnesota and Cockeye most years. I’m one of those negative posters who isn’t rational for being down on Rhule even though Fleck and Kirk run circles around him coaching wise.Remember when we used to make fun of him for only winning 9 games a year. Good times...
The press conference of him trying to paint the season as progress with back to back bowl games and then jumping down a reporters neck for even saying the word “reset” was pretty hilarious . Especially when they’re bringing in 20 transfers and 2 new coordinators LOLYear 4 will be interesting. Rhule has been selling he slowly builds via developing younger players. We seem to need a lot of key transfers to start in year 4. Not sure what the pivot will be. Seems it has been we’ve been bad forever and went to back to back bowl games as the proof of concept.
Bo at least had the conviction to do what he believed in.Pelini was way better than Rhule.
I know a guy who played under Prince at K-State and was a GA under Snyder. I asked him what the main differences were between the two. He said Snyder followed his process no matter how things were going. He said if shit when sideways a little under Prince he was always changing things up.Bo at least had the conviction to do what he believed in.
Rhule changes with the wind anymore.
Snyder was in his 240th year. Prince 1st-3rd.I know a guy who played under Prince at K-State and was a GA under Snyder. I asked him what the main differences were between the two. I’ve heard the same things about Osborne. He also said Snyder was the most secretive person with his staff too. Snyder was a different cat.Snyder was in his 240th year. Prince 1st-3rd.
Think there's times to change and times to stick to the process. By nature though those two would be at both ends of the spectrum.
Rhule isn’t a first time HC.Snyder was in his 240th year. Prince 1st-3rd.

I've seen posts that Rhule is holding Holgo back by making him run his offense and defense by forcing Butler to run something he doesn't know. Now you're saying he doesn't have an identity?Rhule isn’t a first time HC.
He should have a core philosophy that he sticks to and is building toward.
I truly have no idea what he wants his offense to look like……defense? Fuck
You can answer those questions for what Cockeye, Minnesota, Oregon, Ohio state, Georgia, Indiana, etc….. any well coached team you can answer those questions
2 starting oline back Pritchett and Evans. 3 combined with what we have is enough if you hit on at least 2. No real opinion if there's two good starters in what we got.I just have one question, surely we are bringing in more than just 3 OL right? And obviously a RB or 2?
Probably/Maybe. Remains to be seen. Bo was coaching in top heavy Big 12 and took over a program that still had some traction. Rhule took over a dormant Big 10 school who once was a power house.Pelini was way better than Rhule.
What do you think his identity is?I've seen posts that Rhule is holding Holgo back by making him run his offense and defense by forcing Butler to run something he doesn't know. Now you're saying he doesn't have an identity?
Not sure what to think. I don't think Raiola was his ideal QB but he was a 5 star that given the chance you take every time.
Shit ain't working you change it. Repeating shit that doesn't work for the sake of consistency is stupid. You might stay closer to your ceiling but your ceiling is mediocrity.
I.e. Cockeye/Minn
I love the "identity" discussion. What would an identity look like to you? How would you recognize it?What do you think his identity is?
I can guess based what he has said, but through 3 years he has utterly failed in building it
I've been saying this for the last two years. Who are we offensively? What are we trying to do? Do we have a system that has basic repetitive principals? Nothing is apparent. What do you think his identity is?
