Maybe. I think some kids just don't know that it takes that much hardwork to win games.
There's a difference between just winning and winning a lot, like the LSU guys. There's also a difference between doing what you're told and putting in the extra work to be great.

Right, but I think they need to start with simply winning first. Winning should give kids motivation to want more and so they work even more. It's hard to just flip a switch on a losing team. The kids don't understand why they're hardwork is necessary until they see it starting to produce results. It's like the person that has never gone to the gym before. You don't want to start off working out every day. The fatigue will start to set in before any results start to show. Then they never want to come back because it was so difficult to get started. You gotta build up to those 1000 catches.

They're a better football program right now and would beat us on the field. I don't see how anyone could dispute that...
Ok cool...so you are just a dumbass. Just needed to be clear.

If being a dumbass means being 100% correct, then sure.

I get it, but if Mickey walks in to my room and says simply "here's the LSU guys, they caught 1000 passes during the offseason, won a natty, and got drafted. Any questions?" Proof is already there. My opinion, I walk in to the gym, see a bunch of a people who have obviously gotten results from going, I'm there for a reason, I can understand the basics on how they got there and want that if I'm already there. Just me though.

I guess I can understand here during Frost's tenure because there hasn't been many wins, so where is the example? Mickey at LSU is the example for the WR room under him.

SDSU definitely would've beaten us last year. You don't think so?
I wouldn't say we definitely would have beat anyone because we managed to find crazy ways to lose. We should have beat them though. How about this. Northwestern beats SDSU 9 times out of 10 last year.

Regardless, is that your only metric? Would we have beat that team last year? Will we beat them this year? Id go 50/50 with any of those teams and then every other factor Nebraska wins.

SDSU had a winning season. We didn't. What metric are you using that says NU is a better football program right now?

It's a middle of the road program in a conference that's somewhere between P4 and G5. Has very little money following.

Yeah, as a whole I suppose you’re right if you’re choosing a long-term better situation. But for a player choosing a place to play one season I’d have a hard time making that argument.

Based on what? Come to K St where we'll finish somewhere in the middle of the big 12 maybe even as high as 4th!!!!

Or Nebraska where expectations are to compete for the West and more than likely finish towards the bottom.

Draft chances don't matter unless you're a RB. Then I'd go to K St.

Winning is by far the most important metric
Sure. If you're talking about a chance to get in the playoff or even major bowl. None of these teams have a remote chance. After that you have to normalize it.

So 4th in conference with wins against name programs isn't any better than finishing last in the worst P5 division in football?

First of all the west isn't the worst P5 division in football. Not sure what you're basing that on.

Even if I go along with that. No its not in the whole scheme of things.
