Frankly, a vast majority of transfers Downgrade. Very few end up in a better of even similar position as they were at their previous school. The portal should be a cautionary tale to many in the coming years.

Just because they performed well at a different school and that school experienced success doesn't mean they transferred up. In no world is San Diego St a step up from Nebraska (in regards to football).

It won't be though. Generally speaking, downgrades mean more immediate playing time. What they don't realize is most NFL scouts/teams want guys who have played well against the best competition.

There’s arguments to be made either way..
It’s in Manhattan, worse facilities, worse fan base, they wear purple, worse conference, financially speaking K State isn’t on the same tier.
Would they have beaten Nebraska last year? You could honestly argue either way
As far as their success on the field compared to Nebraska…much better lately. But they also don’t play the schedule Nebraska plays.
I’d take K States success during Klieman though. Good coach. Perfect for K State

So KSU, SDSU, and TCU aren't in better shape as football programs than we are? TCU might not be now that GPat is out, but they were an upgrade for JD when he went there

JD did nothing at TCU and TCU does nothing in the Big 12 so no. KSU is middle of the pack in a weaker Big 12 conference so no. SDSU plays joke competition so Greg Bell looks better., so no. All of that is a downgrade from the Big 10 in general.

Maybe. I think some kids just don't know that it takes that much hardwork to win games.
