Mongo spoke to him May 24 and said this:

McGahee said that he is more than likely going to take his official visit to Nebraska during the season.

"more than likely"?

It could be he already told us he wasn't sure he wanted to come and he was going looking elsewhere, but why not de-commit then? It would seem likely in any event then we'd just recruit someone else.

It sounds like it may have come from us - he was now not near the top of our board - and we told him he didn't have to de-commit publicly, just look.

Either way, I doubt this caught the staff by surprise because he didn't have an OV scheduled.
