It’s time boys..

Fire. Everyone.
I know it'll never happen but I'd be okay with the entire defensive staff staying.

They've had maybe 3-4 quarters of bad football through 8 games, with an offense that does a lot of 3 and out, or refuses to score points in the redzone 60% of the time.

2 of those bad quarters coming directly after the coordinators dad dies in a shit accident. I'll cut them slack. Frost, Austin, Verdu, etc can drive off a cliff

this is a top 15 job in terms of money - the new facilities will help in recruiting - the fan support is top notch - a lot of the Osborne politics have fallen away over ~ 25 years and it’s in a winnable division and expectations are actually reasonable/low.

Literally recruiting is the only downside, and talented recruiters can still get top 20 classes here.

we can get a much better coach to come here - it’s ridiculous to say otherwise
I mean mediocre recruiters with lots of dead weight in staff could still get top 20 classes to Nebraska.

the defense has been improved this year, but it's all a mirage, imo. without the 6th year players due to covid this defense would be just as disappointing as it has been in the last 3 years

once they are gone along with CTB and likely a couple more transfers we're going to be left with a mediocre defense next year that has little depth

That's a fair enough point
