Didn’t the state pickup the cost of special education for every district?

Don't know anything about that. Don't think anything changed for property taxes other than shifting that credit. Maybe that indirectly reduced the levy? I don't think mine went down though.

But yea and no, 55% are local taxes, 40 state and 5 federal.

With DOE in the verge of collapsing. Special education is going to take a hard hit. Plus the state wants one central public school fund instead of localized
