It does suck Nebraska doesn’t have a bunch of the state running the option in high school and putting on clinics to teach high schools coaches the option to feed into the program a bunch of walkons that know the option like the back of their hand

If Haarberg was salty as an Option QB, we would know by now. He does not have the feel on how to string out a defense and make them commit, then pitch to our RB for a long gainer. He's just a runner, and a good one as a QB. But not a salty QB who knows how to run the actual option.

The high schools definitely helped system wise with Nebraska football back in the day. I get it’s a different time.
