Rhule is fine with it. Do you want him fired too? They asked him about Teddy playing more and he basically said Cocoran is better and the best option. Recruiting and development is the only fix. Is Raiola the guy? I have my doubts, but you have seen some improvement from other guys.

I’m wondering what Rhule’s evaluation is of his offensive staff.

Have a hard time thinking anything changes after year 1 but it wouldn’t surprise me if the pressure isn’t excruciating if we don’t make a bowl game this year.

Wonder if Big10 play opens up Rhule’s eyes on the caliber of coach needed in this league.

The real pressure starts in year two if we don’t make a bowl. Outside of possibly Raiola I doubt there are any offensive changes after this year.

100% fair. I’m closing the book on yesterday and moving onto next week. You’ve got 7 more games to get 4 wins. We are going to play a lot of games that are at our level of competition. All of our goals are intact.

For the last six years we've averaged less than 4 wins a season overall, about 2.7 in conference. After 1 month in the first season of a new coaching regime hired to do a complete rebuild of the existing disaster, a month which finds us 2-3, coming off a 38 point loss to the #2 team, we have fans suggesting members of the new staff be fired.

I agree, but I don’t see us winning 4 more games. The offense will be lucky to break 20 in most of our games where we stand today.

Satterfield and Donnie hate are understandable IMO. But I truly don't understand the McGuire hate. He has been dealt as shitty of a hand you can have. His most talented WR quit during fall camp. Then WR #3 tore his ACL week 1. So a room that was probably a player or two short became impossibly thin. And on top of all of that, we have to have the worst passing QB(s) in P5. I don't blame him at all for the shit show our WR room is.

For some reason, many fans have convinced themselves that there is an abundance of talent on the roster, and therefore, it must be the coaches' fault that they are losing because of the abundance of talent on the team.

I am not sure where this grandiose illusion about the talent on this team came from. Why has NU had a losing record in 7 out of the last 8 seasons if they have such a wealth of talent?

Not saying I want him fired but they said last week when teddy goes in their blocking grade goes way up. He also was ok with starting sims at qb.

He stayed with Sims because that was his handpicked guy and H2 is nothing special as a qb either. I’m pretty sure according to their grades in practice and in the games Cocoran is grading out better. If he wasn’t Teddy would be starting.

I'm really biased when it comes to Kaelin so not even going to answer that. 2 freshman and 1 transfer would be ideal.
