Agreed but it immediately puts a coach at a disadvantage recruiting high school kids regardless of the portal. Can’t tell them to come play for you if they know you aren’t even under contract the entire 4 or 5 years. I know the portal is what really matters but going from 13 to 15 roster spots allows you to recruit HS kids that could be players later down their career.

We finished 3rd in the Big 10 last year and beat the eventually national runner up soundly. It was without a doubt the best season of the last 25 years of Nebrasketball. I’d rather roll the dice with that guy than another mid major dude.
