Again, I said they would be good to have, but not having them hasn't stopped us from getting into the dance. But we can ignore that one too so you can fit your narrative.

And it's easily arguable Keisei had a better supporting cast his last 2 seasons.

Tominaga shot 37% last year and had considerably more attempts from 3. That’s the issue. Essegian misses one attempt and hides out. Can’t be a shooter and not let it go. Keisei would probably have 300+ 3pt attempts on this team. Essegian should be shooting closer to 8-10 times a game.

Brice, Gary and Mast have been good. The rest have under performed for what people thought we would get. Everyone on our team besides the top are very mediocre athletically and skill wise. Essegian has been cold almost all season long and can’t play defense. Berke really has just added some size but not much else. Morgan has had good moments but still makes a fair amount of mistakes. The fact he ever puts the ball on the floor is mind numbing. Rollie would okay D2 if he wasn’t 6’ 5”. Uhlis is useless on the offensive end. Liked Allicks energy but he wasn’t by any means a star. Fred had really good teams at ISU with transfers but saying he’s hit out of the park in Lincoln is a stretch not to mention all the bad transfers he’s taken and the guys with Nebraska ties he couldn’t land that are playing meaningful minutes on other teams. Pickle Smoochers is gonna land Dix and Freeman from Cockeye next year. They will have two immediate impact starters. Fred has barely done that over 5 years let alone in on transfer portal.

I know I’m pretty critical of Fred but at times it sure seems like he makes it easy to do.

Brice has been great but praising Fred’s body of work is ridiculous. He’s missed even when Matty A left. Without Loesner it would be interesting to see how we would be. In general, this years team is mediocre. Not great at anything. Not athletic enough to beat good skill players and not good enough to beat good athletes. We’ll get to 20 wins because of an easy early season schedule and be close to .500 in conference play.

If I posted this during our 5 game skid I’d have 1660 likes but now that people seen a couple wins they think we have coach K. Todays game is a glaring show of how bad the team is coached at times.

Morgan and Allick played the role exactly how I expected. Neither were brought in to be stars. Still too early to judge Berke and Essegian imo. Both have shown flashes.

Rollie and Uhlis I would agree with you. Both have underperformed.

How much of that is due to NIL? Im guessing Pickle Smoochers has significantly higher NIL budget.

Rollie has been good as of late though, and I would go as far as to say as really, really good on the defensive end. He completely shut down Berry in the second half once Rollie was his main defender.

I disagree with most of what you have had to say. However, I also know for a fact Chucky, Fidler and Kyle had discussed about all coming here together. However, Louisville threw a number at Chucky that we were not willing to match. That kind of blew up the hole idea...
